BASH NAJIB BY ALL MEANS, BUT DON’T TOUCH THE BELOVED UMNO OF HIS CREATION!

That seems to be the message. Dr Mahathir Mohamad wants UMNO intact as a ruling party when he takes it back, and better still, for its members to remain the type that he can con like he did before. 

The reason Najib Razak is still Prime Minister is primarily because UMNO members are dutifully protecting him. If you touch Najib from outside UMNO, you are declaring war. And why are many UMNO members and the UMNO leadership structure so beholden to Najib? Mahathir knows, he’s the master at that kind of bondage. So the reasons are for them to know and for us to find out. Scream out that they are ignorant idiots all you want.

Let’s look at it another way. We do not have to second-guess stuff we are not privy to. Could it be because the anti-Najib forces are led by the wrong people? Could it be because evidence against Najib are not packaged properly for public consumption? Tailored only for the urban crowd and not touching the hearts of people who are struggling to make a living.

They have never really mattered to you before. Now you know. Heard about the stuck assholes that cause havoc to the human body? Cutting their leaders a lot of slack is a feudal thing which Mahathir too enjoyed during his time as PM in spite of his glaring misdeeds. No, they are not better informed now than before. They are not internet-savvy.

The only people that care about them are purportedly those that can pacify them with worldly currency or the fear of God. Blackmail of sorts perhaps, but you can’t beat that with tales of money being stolen by the billions of ringgit by their feudal lords. The money were never theirs anyway, or so they thought. How many bullock carts of cash is one billion ringgit anyway.

The only way Najib can be ousted from power is when the pressure of surviving gets too much for them to handle. In many ways, it is beginning to happen now what with the rising prices of life essentials. But it has not yet to register fully because you talk above their heads. You had assumed that they can get their cue from the city-folks. Not anymore, why?

Because the gap of affinity between them and the city-folks have increased. More animosity are being manufactured every day. The put-downs are endless because it is easier to disown them as albatrosses around your necks. They are in a way alienated from the crowd that look down on them. They have dignity too, so now you get to kiss their asses.

So let’s appeal to the right crowd and not just the converted. Adjust the way we present things and show that we feel for them. Don’t do that just to make Najib & Co look bad in their eyes but mean it because we really feel for our brothers and sisters. We need them because we share this country with them.

When we alienate a big portion of our population, they don’t listen to us. And we don’t have the goodies to bribe. Aren’t the present anti-Najib forces’ leaders able to win them over? Well, just learn to stroke and not yell. March 27th gathering should be born out of genuine concern for their plight and not issues of oneupmanship and all that stuff not having direct bearing on them putting food on their tables.

True, the effect of corruption in high places will be taking food away from their tables, but that causation can be easily neutralised by BR1M and a handful of cash just before they vote. These are simple folks. So keep your arguments simple and relevant to their immediate needs. Meanwhile, get your act together and decide whether you want to save Malaysia from Najib and gang or save UMNO for the benefit of Mahathir & Co. No brainer 101.
