5 Malaysians among 18 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore on June 1

 

Five Malaysians are among the 18 new Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore on June 1, according to the republic's Health Ministry (MOH).

Three of them are linked to three different clusters while two are categorised as unlinked cases at the moment, it said in its full data released late last night.

As of noon Tuesday, the republic reported a total of 62,069 Covid-19 cases with 43 open clusters so far, with the largest involving the Changi Airport Terminal with 3 clusters and 108 cases.

There are currently 217 confirmed cases still in hospital, with most of them being stable or improving.

Two, however, in critical condition in the intensive care unit and 11 requiring oxygen supplementation, said the ministry.
