Agriculture and Food Industries Deputy Minister II Che Abdullah Mat Nawi is undergoing quarantine at home after his son and daughter-in-law living with him in Putrajaya tested positive for Covid-19.
The Tumpat MP said he, his wife, and other family members have not been infected.
“Now, the whole family is undergoing mandatory quarantine at home. I’m sorry that I will not be able to physically able to serve for the time being.
“However, I can still give commitment virtually to perform the tasks entrusted to me, God willing,” he said in a Facebook post today.
He urged members of the public to pray for his son and daughter-in-law’s recovery and for the family to be protected from the pandemic.
“I humbly ask for prayers for my son and daughter-in-law’s recovery, and for my family to be protected from the pandemic so I may perform my commitments and return to the people as usual,” he said. - Mkini
