Ismail to make inaugural address to nation as PM

 

It is not known if Ismail Sabri Yaakob will unveil his Cabinet during his address.

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will make his first televised address since his appointment by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

His speech will be televised at 5.30pm on RTM, Bernama TV, TV3, Astro Awani and TV AlHijrah.

However, it is not known if he will unveil his Cabinet during his speech. Ismail was sworn in as Malaysia’s 9th prime minister yesterday.

He was appointed after securing the support of the majority of MPs following Muhyiddin Yassin’s resignation on Monday. - FMT
