PETALING JAYA: A village in Sabah will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) following a spike in Covid-19 infections.
The two week EMCO in Kampung Baambangan, in Telupid, will begin on Sept 27, the National Security Council (MKN) said in a statement.
A lockdown at three localities in Sabah and two each in Kelantan and Pahang will be lifted tomorrow.
The areas are: Sabah – Taman Semarak Megah, Tawau; Perumahan IOI Plantations Unico Oil Mill Sdn Bhd, Lahad Datu; Kampung Dumoing Bawah, Ranau; Pahang – Ladang Insanjaya and Ladang Darabif in Pekan; Kelantan – Kampung Bendang Pak Yong and Kampung Simpangan, both in Tumpat. - FMT
