Italy has scolded Ukraine for wasting high value and scarce ATACMS missiles on low value targets (aka civilian targets). Italy will not replenish (their quota) of the ATACMS missiles. The ATACMS are made by the US, which has now embargoed all further weapons shipments to Ukraine. The NATO countries, including Italy, have supplied over 500 of the ATACMS missile to Ukraine from their own military stockpiles. Ukraine is now down to their last 50 missiles with no replenishment coming from Italy and the US.
I think this is just an excuse for Italy to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. Italian PM Gorgiosa Meloni is an "ally" of President Trump and I believe this is called 'follow the leader'. Pretty soon the rest of NATO will likely fall in line. Ukraine is doomed. Here is a 3 minute video.
