Ex-MACC chief Azam Baki says this involves the controversial businessman's claims regarding an alleged Sabah corruption scandal.

PETALING JAYA: Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Azam Baki is preparing to sue controversial businessman Albert Tei for claiming that he had threatened the latter in connection with an alleged Sabah corruption scandal.
“Yes, my lawyers are preparing the documents,” he told FMT briefly when asked if he was considering taking legal action against Tei.
Yesterday, Bukit Aman said it would summon Azam to assist in its probe into the allegation that a lawyer linked to the former MACC chief had warned Tei against exposing the alleged scandal.
Bukit Aman criminal investigation department director M Kumar said Tei and the lawyer linked to the allegations have given their statements. - FMT
