Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd says no injuries were reported and no personnel were affected in the incident off Sarawak.

PETALING JAYA: A Petronas Carigali subsidiary this afternoon confirmed that a fire had broken out at its facility off Sarawak yesterday.
Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd said no injuries were reported and no personnel were affected, Dayak Daily reported.
It also said the fire did not pose any immediate threat to the environment.
The company said the incident at its West Lutong Vent A facility occurred at about 2pm, but has since been brought under control.
“Vestigo remains fully committed to the safety of its people, protecting the environment, and maintaining the integrity of its operations,” it said.
It said it is investigating the cause of the fire and is working closely with the authorities. - FMT
