In the first case, 44.78kg of ketamine was found in three parcels at a courier company's mail centre in Sepang on Aug 13.

Selangor customs director Noraidah Ishak said the drugs, weighing a combined 44.78kg, were seized under Op Mekong Dragon VII and Op Shieldgate, Bernama reported.
She said the first case involved an inspection of three imported courier parcels at a courier company’s mail centre in Sepang on Aug 13.
Two of the boxes had 15 plastic packets and the third 14.
“The suspected ketamine weighed 44.5kg, with an estimated value of RM2.22 million,” Noraidah said in a statement today.
She said the syndicate had declared the items as plastic wrap, fabric, stethoscopes and air filters.
The drugs were imported from a European country, with the recipient’s address in Sepang.
In the second case on Oct 13, customs officers tailed an unregistered motorcycle in Jeli, Kelantan.
“Realising he was being followed, the motorcyclist fled, sparking a pursuit with enforcement vehicles before the suspect escaped.”
Noraidah said the suspect discarded a plastic package by the roadside containing 0.28kg of suspected cannabis buds valued at RM22,880. - FMT
