PKR president Anwar Ibrahim had an audience with the Brunei ruler Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah yesterday, during which they discussed further cooperation between the two countries.
"The king and I touched on efforts to increase the collaboration between our two countries and spoke on the need to understand the latest developments in both countries.
"The efforts and initiatives made to better the quality of education were also prioritised and discussed," Anwar said in a series of tweets last night.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had also met with Sultan Hassanal on March 5, during the Malaysia-Brunei Annual Leaders' Consultation framework.
Both had previously expressed satisfaction over the continued collaboration between Petronas and PetroleumBrunei. - Mkini
