KUALA LUMPUR: The Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather alert of heavy rain for the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia from today until tomorrow.
In a statement today, it said downpours are forecast for districts of Kelantan - Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai.
The warning also applies to Terengganu; and Maran, Kuantan, Bera and Rompin in Pahang. - BERNAMA
