COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,847 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active cases stood at 26,033, down 16.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Negeri Sembilan (75)
Sarawak (67)

Malacca (48)
Pahang (47)

Another 5 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which one was declared as "brought in dead".
The deaths were reported in Perak (3), Johor (1) and Kedah (1).
Over the past week, an average of 5.1 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 6.8, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on a downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,285 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There are 1,204 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 67 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Sabah (82) followed by Selangor (67) and Johor (38). - Mkini
