PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak was transferred to Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital (CRH) for treatment and observation on Monday, says the prisons department.
In a statement, it said Najib was transferred to CRH after being referred by the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
“He will be sent back to Kajang prison to (continue) serving his sentence after he gets clearance from the specialists at CRH or HKL,” said the department.
Najib was admitted to HKL last week after the Pekan MP’s blood pressure was experiencing “fluctuations”, said his lawyer Shafee Abdullah.
