PM wishes all Happy Malaysia Day: Hopes celebration will be catalyst for national unity

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said Malaysia Day which falls on Sept 16 should be used as a starting point for "Keluarga Malaysia" to further strengthen their unity.

In a Facebook post to celebrate Malaysia Day, he said unity could be further enhanced based on three Keluarga Malaysia values namely inclusion, together and gratitude.

"May Keluarga Malaysia continue to uphold the spirit of national integration, loyalty to the king and country, and may Malaysia continue to be preserved in peace and prosperity.

"Selamat Hari Malaysia," he said.

In second post, attaching with a video, Ismail Sabri penned a Malay poem to describe the closeness between east and west Malaysia despite being separated by the South China Sea.
