Health minister Dzulkefly Ahmad says the person has been reassigned as a medical officer in the Sabah health department pending further action.

Its minister, Dzulkefly Ahmad, said the person had been transferred to the Sabah health department and reassigned as a medical officer pending further action, Utusan Malaysia reported.
“Administratively, the health ministry has completed its internal investigation. Among the actions taken was to transfer the director to a medical officer position in the medical division of the state health department.
“The (alleged) victim has also been given full support and psychiatric treatment and has been relocated to a safer working environment,” he said after an event at Universiti Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu today.
Dzulkefly also said the state health department’s official report on the matter had been submitted to the public services department (JPA) for further action.
Last month, JPA said an investigation into the matter by a special committee had been completed, with recommendations being implemented in accordance with established procedures and applicable laws. - FMT
