Those were the words shared following the deaths of members of the Flying Doctor Service (FDS) team who had dedicated themselves to providing medical care to communities in Sarawak's interior.
In a Facebook post, Irene Philip shared footage of the team carrying out their duties and providing treatment to residents in remote areas.
"Your service to the interior communities will always be remembered. Thank you for bringing healthcare, medicine and hope to our people," she wrote in the caption of the video.
The footage showed one of the victims, medical officer Dr Ainul Baraah Kamaruddin, carrying out her duties as usual, including examining an elderly resident.
A check of the comments showed many social media users praising the team's dedication and describing their service as an invaluable contribution that would be difficult to forget.
"So heartbreaking to watch this video... Al-Fatihah to Dr Ainul and Captain Zainol... condolences to the families of the assistant medical officer, nurses Debra and Jessie," wrote Miea.
"I'm envious because their passing has allowed all their good and noble deeds to live on, with all of us praying for these heroes and heroines. I hope my own ending will be like theirs too. Al-Fatihah and condolences," Mahathir commented.
"People in the interior must really feel the loss of their doctors," wrote Jessica.
It was reported that a BO-105 helicopter carrying five people, including its pilot, crashed near Long Lellang Airport in Ulu Baram, Marudi, Sarawak, last Tuesday.
Those killed were pilot Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, 30; medical officer Dr Ainul Baraah Kamaruddin; assistant medical officer Alexson Adit Henry, 31; and nurses Debra Moset, 40, and Jessie Paya Jok, 44. - NST
