Najib must tell HOW MANY MILLIONS of taxpayers' money he spent to boost his image - Nazmi

UPDATE2 PKR communications director Nik Nazmi has demanded that Prime Minister Najib Razak come clean on news reports that the Malaysian government had paid George W. Bush's speechwriter to promote his administration while attacking Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

"This has now become an international scandal involving most of the top international press. It is extremely embarrassing for Malaysia's image to be associated in such a scandal," Nik Nazmi, who is also the state assemblyman for Kelana Jaya, told a press conference on Wednesday.

The youthful and fast-rising PKR leader listed 6 key questions for the 59-year-old Najib to respond to:

> How much taxpayers' money has his administration paid public relations consultants particularly overseas to write anti-Pakatan Rakyat and Anwar Ibrahim pieces.

> Other than APCO in the US and FBC in the UK, where else has the BN paid PR consultants to damage the opposition's image?

> Who is involved in the hiring and coordinating with the PR consultants?

> What instructions are given with regards to how the consultants deal with Anwar Ibrahim as the bulk of the work being done by the consultants are solely about attacking Anwar?

> Is the government aware that many of the consultants hired are known for their extreme right-wing and Islamophobic views, who deride Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood and American Muslims.

> Is the government aware that many of the consultants hired are staunch and avid supporters of Israel to the detriment of the Palestinians?
