TELUK INTAN BN’s candidate for the Teluk Intan by-election Mah Siew Keong today denied that BN was responsible for the distribution of flyers containing fake photos of DAP candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud in a bikini.
Met after a ceramah last night in Taman Melor, Mah, 53, reiterated that he had vowed to conduct a clean campaign from the offset of the by-election.
“Of course (I don’t agree with the flyers). I have said that I do not agree with such campaigning from day one,” the Gerakan president said.
“We in BN did not do this, even in the Internet there many fake pictures of me.”
Instead, Mah asked Dyana and her camp to join in denouncing the actions of individuals who splattered Mah’s campaign posters with black paint at several locations in Teluk Intan.
“I denounce (fake Dyana photos) and she must also condemn the actions on my photos.
“I don’t agree with my photos being treated like this either,” he said.
The flyers were found in a Malay village in Changkat Jong and also at a mosque in Kampung Banjar.
The photo used, however, is not Dyana but actually that of a Filipino actress in a bikini.
