About halfway thru this video you can listen to one Bollywood song tune they ciplak from a Mozart music concerto!! Another Bollywood song is sung to the tune of the Israeli National Anthem!! This has been going on since the 1950s.
In Malaysia many people know now that some P Ramlee songs were ciplak from Turkish songs. Recently I was watching some video news from Turkey which by chance showed a Turkish Army parade. Their soldiers were singing an old Turkish military song - which I immediately recognised as having the same tune as one of our old "merdeka" era songs. Ciplak lagi.
