 This is a short video. This is Lieutenant Colonel Tulasi Gabbard, 43 years old who has just been appointed as the United State's Director of National Intelligence (DNI) by President Donald Trump. It is a Cabinet level position.

What is the Director of National Intelligence?

Here is the answer : The director of national intelligence (DNI) is a senior cabinet-level United States government official, required by the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 to serve as executive head of the United States Intelligence Community (IC) and to direct and oversee the National Intelligence Program (NIP). All IC agencies report directly to the DNI.

The DNI also serves, upon invitation, as the principal advisor to the president of the United States, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council on all intelligence matters. The DNI, supported by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), produces the President's Daily Brief (PDB), a classified document including intelligence from all IC agencies, handed each morning to the president of the United States.  Now the CIA chief reports to the DNI.

There are only three points to remember.

• 18 US intelligence agencies report to the DNI.
• The CIA will report to the DNI.
• First thing every morning the President will read (or be directly briefed)  by the DNI. Meaning she has direct access to the President EVERY DAY.
  

Lieutenant Colonel Tulasi Gabbard (Army National Guard)  is  a decorated (she was awarded medals) war veteran. She served in the US Army in Iraq and Kuwait. She was also the youngest member of the United States Congress from Hawaii (in her early 20s). She is a surfer and was also a martial arts instructor (Capoeira).

Her mother was white and born in Indiana while her father is of Samoan European ancestry. Her mother converted to Hinduism at an early age. So Tulasi and all her siblings were born into Hinduism. As a Congresswoman she took her oath of office  on her personal copy of the Hindu Bhagavad Gita.

She was a lifelong Democrat but got tired of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and switched her support to Donald Trump (Republican).

We are just beginning to hear about Tulsi Gabbard.
