MACC visits BAM HQ in graft probe

PETALING JAYA: 

The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) is being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

In a brief statement, BAM confirmed that MACC officers had gone to its headquarters last week “to request certain information”.

“BAM extended its full cooperation during the visit, and the officers carried out their duties in a professional manner,” it said.

It was previously reported that BAM’s acting president, V Subramaniam, and secretary-general, Kenny Goh, might be summoned by MACC to give their statements.
