Transport minister Loke Siew Fook says the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex is under the jurisdiction of the Border Control and Protection Agency under the home ministry.

Loke said matters related to KSAB, including the operation of scanning machines, fall under the jurisdiction of the Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS), which is under the home ministry’s purview.
He also said congestion on the Johor Causeway and Second Link is a government concern, and a special mechanism has been established through the Johor Causeway Congestion Cabinet Committee to address it comprehensively.
“All operational issues will be discussed, implemented and managed through this platform,” Bernama reported him as saying in Johor Bahru today.
It was previously reported that lorry drivers entering Singapore were stranded for up to four hours at the Second Link.
Congestion on the heavy vehicle lanes has reportedly been occurring since mid-February, following the implementation of mandatory scanning inspections on all heavy vehicles. - FMT
