KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds across four states and Labuan until 11am today.

In a statement, MetMalaysia said the affected areas in Perak include Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, and Hilir Perak.

In Selangor, the warning covers Sabak Bernam.

The alert for Sarawak covers Sri Aman, Betong (Pusa and Betong), Sarikei (Julau and Meradong), Sibu, Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat, and Mukah), and Kapit (Song).

In Sabah, the warning affects the interior area of Kuala Penyu. - NST
