The PKR vice-president says she is perplexed by Johor BN chairman Onn Hafiz Ghazi's call for PH to identify its poster boy when there is no guarantee he will be appointed menteri besar.

Dr Zaliha Mustafa said on one hand, Onn Hafiz said voters have the right to know who PH’s menteri besar candidate is, yet he also admitted there was no guarantee a poster boy would be appointed to the post.
“So which is it?
“If the appointment of the menteri besar is subject to the procedures and provisions stipulated in Johor’s constitution, why the need to turn this issue (of the poster boy) into a polemic?” she asked in a Facebook post tonight.
Zaliha also uploaded two new clippings of Onn Hafiz to back her claim that he was contradicting himself.
Yesterday, Bernama reported Onn Hafiz as saying that being a poster boy in an election does not guarantee appointment as menteri besar if the party succeeds in forming the state government.
Onn Hafiz said royal consent, particularly from Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim and Regent of Johor Tunku Mahkota Ismail, was crucial in determining who would lead the state administration.
At the same time, he also questioned who PH’s poster boy is and pointed out that the coalition has yet to offer a definitive plan for Johoreans.
He said voters have the right to know who would lead the state government and their direction should PH win the polls.
Zaliha went on to say that Onn Hafiz need not fret over PH’s poster boy, adding that the coalition has many capable leaders who could head the state administration.
“Johoreans are more interested to know if there is a brighter future ahead for them and are not concerned about those who like to create perceptions.” - FMT
