KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional (BN) Supreme Council members are scheduled to meet at its headquarters, in Menara Dato Onn today.
This would be a second meeting being held at Menara Dato after last night's Umno Supreme Council members meeting.
Umno was reported to have reached a consensus not being part of a unity government which is led by Perikatan Nasional (PN).
This would mean that Umno is willing to form a unity government with Pakatan Harapan (PH).
Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the decision came after reviewing the meetings it had with PH and PN recently.
Meanwhile, The Conference of Rulers is holding a special meeting today at Istana Negara to discuss the ongoing formation of the new government.
The meeting is being convened for the rulers to come to a decision that would be in the interest of the people and the country. - NST
