KUALA LUMPUR: All train operations passing through the Kerinchi LRT station have been restored as of 10pm.

Rapid KL said it was now operating automatically and normally for both directions after repair works on a damaged component of the Platform Intrusion Emergency Stop (PIES) due to lightning strike concluded.

The Kelana Jaya LRT line was disrupted at 5.46pm today causing a delay in travel schedule and overcrowding at several stations. - NST
