Fair and Just: MIC Youth secretary C Sivarraajh said that it was "puzzling and disappointing" that the Sedition Act could be used to threaten parents who merely acted to protect the well-being of their children in the shower room canteen issue.

Your outrage is completely pointless if it is for the benefit of the media and to impress on the minorities that you are the champions of their communities. Let's see some actual work from you.

For one thing, clarify the date when the shower room was used. As you have pointed out, if there is confusion in the dates, interview parents and students and then interview the school administration. Tell us some facts.

In the past, canteen operators sold meals during puasa period as there were non-Muslims in the school and they needed to eat. That is their right.

The Muslim students can always stay back in class or stay away from the canteen area if they don't want to be tempted. To resist temptation under such circumstances would make their fasting even more meaningful.
