MCA Youth has lodged a police report against blogger Papagomo for allegedly posting a racist remark on his Facebook page, which they said could spark racial violence.
In an open Facebook chat that Papagomo initiated, the Chinese in Malaysia were called ‘pendatang’ (migrants) and this incited others to ask for Malays to ‘unite and fight against Chinese’.

“Action should be taken immediately by the government against this kind of clearly racist remark.”
Vulgar wordings against the Chinese were also used and some even suggested that races other than Malays be given separate identity cards (ICs), Chong said.
This kind of remarks can harm the “fragile” peace that prevails among the races in Malaysia, he said.
