SHOCKER! Teen stalker attacks AirAsia staff

SHOCKER! Teen stalker attacks AirAsia staff
SEPANG: An AirAsia ground staff member went through 40 minutes of hell when she was pounced on and attacked by a 15-year-old stalker in her apartment in Taman Kota Warisan here on Sunday.
In the 10.45am incident, Nur Fadilah Rosman, 26, who suffered injuries to the on her head, hands and feet, was in the toilet when the the suspect, who is from the neighbourhood, quietly broke into the apartment.
“I went to wash my face and when I came ent out, I had the shock of my life when I saw him standing outside the toilet with a stick.
“He then struck me with it before proceeding to the kitchen to grab a knife and stabbed me several times on my head, hands and feet. The only thing that went through my mind was ‘I’m going to die’ but I knew I had to defend myself and that was what I did,” Nur Fadilah told the New Straits Times yesterday.
She said the suspect, who had been stalking her for the past two years ago, also bit and choked her.
“He tried to scratch my eyes out,” said Fadilah, who was left traumatised by the incident, adding that she had lodged a police report in 2011 against the suspect for stalking her.
Fadilah said the ordeal lasted for 40 minutes and she tried to persuade the teenager to be rational.
“I kept saying that I had never hurt him nor done anything to him to deserve this. But he said ‘You make me want to kill you so bad!’”
She said after begging for mercy, the suspect finally stopped and said to her “sit still if you want to be alive”.
“He went to wash his hands and apologised to me before leaving my apartment.” she said.
Fadilah then called a friend and was rushed to a private hospital in Nilai before being transferred to Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar in Seremban.
She added that her friend had lodged a report on the incident on her behalf.
Fadilah, who works as a customer service executive with the airline, said her problem with the teenager started two years ago when she discovered the suspect was stalking her.
“In one incident, he opened my bedroom window to peep at me,” she said, adding that she and her friend then set up a trap and managed to catch the suspect red-handed.
“I lodged a report against him then and went to see his parents but decided to withdraw the report after discussing it with them.”
Asked why the suspect took two years to finally take revenge against her, Fadilah believed that the suspect studied wanted studied her routine before deciding to strike.
“I am so traumatised. I plan to move out of the apartment and change jobs.” she said.
Checks at Fadilah’s apartment house showed that the suspect had entered the premises through the kitchen’s door.
“I was told by an officer that the suspect had broken the lock in the kitchen door. He then hid under my bed and showed himself when I got out of the toilet.” she said.
District police chief Superintendent Imran Abdul Rahman confirmed the case and said the attack was motivated by revenge as the victim had lodged a report against the suspect in 2011.
“He was detained two years ago after a report against him. Back then, the victim alleged the teenager had been stalking her and it made her uncomfortable.
“Angered by the victim’s action, the suspect decided it was payback time.”
Imran said the suspect was arrested for questioning several hours after the incident.
He is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt using dangerous weapons.
If convicted, the suspect could face up to 20 years of imprisonment and is liable to a fine.
