PETALING JAYA: The country is keeping up the momentum in its vaccination programme with yet another 400,000 doses administered on Monday (July 19).
The Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said it had given 424,936 doses on Monday, of which 282,106 doses were first doses and 142,830 were second doses.
To date, Malaysia has administered 14,772,221 doses of vaccines.
Of this number, 10,097,841 were first doses, which means that 43.1% of the adult population in Malaysia has received at least one dose.
The number of people who have completed both Covid-19 doses stands at 4,674,380, which means that 20% of the adult population has been vaccinated.
As of Monday, about 14.3% of the total Malaysian population have received two doses of the vaccines. - Star
