PETALING JAYA: Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called on cybertroopers “on the other side” to stop defending what he deems an ongoing failure.
The former deputy prime minister wondered if the cybertroopers had any empathy for the people enduring hard times.
“Are you not worried that the country has gone off track?” he said in a Facebook post.
Zahid said he believes that deep down, these cybertroopers knew what the people were going through and the state of the nation.
He said the people were the priority during such trying times.
These cybertroopers, he added, should bear in mind that there were those who were apolitical and only yearned for a comfortable life with their families.
“Think about them, too.”
Zahid said this was why Umno, including himself, would continue to speak up on matters in the interest of the people. - FMT
