Kelantan state assembly to convene from Aug 23 to 25

 

The Kelantan State Legislative Assembly will convene for three days from Aug 23 to 25, said speaker Abdullah Ya’kub.

He said the notice on the matter had been sent out to all 45 state assemblypersons last week.

Abdullah added that the sitting would be held with the physical presence of all elected representatives and in strict compliance with the standard operating procedures.

“The state government was informed that all 45 state assemblypersons have received their vaccinations,” he said when contacted today.

The last time the state assembly convened was on April 14, 2020, but it only lasted for 45 minutes due to the implementation of the movement control order.
