PETALING JAYA: The investigation paper on the National Defence University (UPNM) cadet allegedly stomped on by another trainee has been submitted to the deputy public prosecutor.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said the statements of 13 individuals were recorded.
“We are waiting for a decision on further action from the deputy public prosecutor’s office,” he said today, Bernama reported.
The first-year military training academy student, 19, was reported to have suffered fractures to his ribs and backbone after being stomped on by a third-year student near a field at UPNM at 10.45pm on Oct 21.
Police received a report on the incident on Nov 8.
The suspect showed up at the Cheras police headquarters to provide his statement on Nov 11, following which he was allowed to return home. - FMT
