PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 will go up by three sen for a second consecutive week, the finance ministry announced today.
Starting tomorrow, RON97 will retail at RM3.25 per litre. It is currently sold at RM3.22 per litre.
The price of RON95 will remain at RM2.05 per litre, while diesel will stay at RM2.95 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM2.15 per litre in East Malaysia.
These prices will remain in effect until Jan 1.
“The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people,” it said in a statement. - FMT
