MOST of us can agree that a luxury item should be of good quality, design and more often than not, withstand the test of time.
As technology improves, shouldn’t things get better, and not worse? It appears so until we are to witness some of the “new” fashion wear from the highly acclaimed Balenciaga.
The video post has since received over 1,100 shares and 300 comments. Safe to say, those products are getting all the attention for being so bad.

But who are we to say how bad they are when people are willing to fork out a good deal of cash to own them.
From the video, netizens can see that the shirts and shoes were holed, torn or worn out. Even clothes from a garage sale are in better condition. One can only wonder what went on behind the minds of the people who designed them.
“Who is buying this garbage for their closets?” said a hard hitting @BestBallJunkie while netizen @LondonSparkle1 compares some of the products to a bag from IKEA.
Also, @thegirlfromca wondered if the person designing the product was being foolish or was it the people who bought them. No greater facts have been stated.
Then there was @miniTeevee who claims to know the mystery behind this “interesting” fashion trend.
Apparently the video post has just touched the surface of the Balenciaga “trash” fashion products. A quick search on the internet revealed a black pouch that looks exactly like the plastic bag people use to dispose of their garbage.
And the price tag? A whopping 1,790 USD! On our part, we are more than happy to use the real trash bag that probably doesn’t even cost a sen. Looking at the similarity of both, we think no one can tell the difference anyway. — Focus Malaysia
