KUALA LUMPUR: Albert Tei's lawyer, Zaid Malek, is expected to give his statement to police today following a complaint by Tei's wife over the alleged excessive conduct of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers during last month's raid at their home.
Zaid, accompanied by fellow lawyer Mahajoth Singh, is expected to arrive at the Serdang district police station at 3.30pm where he will have his statement recorded.
He will also hand over video footage captured during the incident to authorities.
Earlier this month, MACC said it had obtained multiple recordings, including officer-recorded video captures and body-worn camera footage, to refute claims of misconduct during a raid at businessman Albert Tei's residence. - NST
