Kluang police chief Bahrin Noh says police received a report today from a man whose staff had informed him that the screens were hacked.

Kluang police chief Bahrin Noh said police received a report today from a 42-year-old man whose staff had informed him that the screens were hacked.
He said the complainant received screenshots and videos via WhatsApp showing pornographic content displayed on the screens. “The complainant then contacted the supplier to verify the incident before cutting off the power supply to stop the content from being displayed,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying today.
Earlier today, the Kluang municipal council said it is working with the screen vendor to identify the cause and strengthen its cybersecurity systems. State executive councillor Jafni Shukor said all LED screens in the council area had been temporarily shut down.
The affected screens were located at Dataran Tasik Kluang, Taman Intan and several areas along the route to Kahang. - FMT
