MACC chief commissioner Abd Halim Aman confirmed the matter when contacted.

Nazir appeared at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya to accept the asset declaration notice on Oct 20 while Mubarak received the notice at his home.
MACC chief commissioner Abd Halim Aman confirmed the matter when contacted.
The anti-graft agency is investigating the brothers over alleged misappropriation of funds and abuse of power in an investment deal worth about RM10 million.
Nazir, a former chairman of Yayasan Bank Rakyat, had accused MACC of abusing its powers in its probe into the alleged misappropriation of RM10 million invested by the foundation.
He had criticised the commission’s raids on his home and his brother’s residence, as well as what he described as unprofessional conduct during his seven-day remand.
During the raids, MACC seized 15 luxury cars valued at RM31 million and 12 high-powered motorcycles valued at RM5 million, as well as five luxury watches, three bracelets and about RM30,000 in cash. Two personal bank accounts containing about RM2 million were also frozen.
Two weeks ago, Halim said Nazir refused to accept an asset declaration notice from MACC as he had applied to the Kuala Lumpur High Court for an injunction to prevent enforcement of the order. - FMT
