Worker dies after being trapped in paper mill machine

 Bentong police say Saifulnizam Miskam had been carrying out maintenance work when the incident happened, and he lost consciousness.

A worker died after he was believed to have been trapped in a machine while carrying out maintenance work at a paper mill at the Bentong industrial park in Karak, Pahang, last night.

Acting Bentong police chief Azmi Mahmod said Saifulnizam Miskam, 32, was trapped inside a machine and had subsequently lost consciousness.

He said the case had been classified as a sudden death, and further investigations were ongoing to determine the cause and exact circumstances of the incident. - FMT
