MY COMMENTS:
Democracy returned to our country in 2018.
It has only been EIGHT years since the 61 year old (actually 63 years) one party rule ended in 2018.
Democracy was established in the Philippines in 1986 - FOURTY YEARS ago.
32 years ahead of us.
Indonesia has been democratic since 1998 - 28 years ago.
Since 1986 the Philippines has had SIX presidential elections.
Indonesia has had FIVE presidential elections since 1998.
We have just had our SECOND general elections since the 61 year old one-party rule ended in 2018.
So we will be needing a few more election cycles before the country settles down to nice and steady.
We are not there yet.
Dont give up. Lets keep working at it.
