(The Star) – Another family member of Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has been detained in connection with a RM1.5bil graft probe.
A 37-year-old businessman, who is the son-in-law of Shafie’s brother Hamid Apdal (pic), was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Saturday.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki confirmed the arrest.
The businessman was said to have been detained at about 5.30pm after turning up at the MACC office here.
Hamid was also among those held.
