WHY THE SUDDEN SILENCE ON MACC CHIEF’S SEX SCANDAL WITH MARRIED WOMAN? IS ALI HAMSA & IGP COVERING UP FOR DZULKIFLI OR ARE THEY WAITING FOR MORE VIDEOS TO CROP UP?

An opposition lawmaker today demanded the chief secretary to the government, Ali Hamsa, to probe the alleged extramarital affair involving MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad in accordance with the Public Service General Orders.
“I want to know what is the role of the chief secretary to the government. According to the general orders, the MACC chief commissioner should be probed,” Johari Abdul (PKR-Sungai Petani) told Dewan Rakyat.
“I remember how a secretary-general (who was) accused of having an affair with a married woman had been fired (following investigation).
“Will the chief secretary cover up the issue? Will the MACC chief be compromised in future cases (probed by the graft-buster) due to his wrongdoing?” he asked.
Johari said this in response to Gobind Singh Deo (DAP-Puchong) who raised Dzulkifli’s case, now being probed under Section 498 of Penal Code, as well as Ops Gopi, where the MACC conducted probe on police officers allegedly receiving kickbacks from gambling and vice in return for protection.
A series of videos have been posted on social media, alleging that Dzulkifli (photo) was involved in an extramarital affair, leading to the woman’s divorce.
Gobind slammed the inaction on these high profile cases and questioned whether there have been any cover-ups by the enforcement authorities.
“Was Dzulkifli the man in the video clip? Was he on an official trip to Bali at that time? We noticed several officers inside the video. Are they MACC officers? Did MACC know about it?” he asked.
G Manivannan (PKR-Kapar) then stood up and questioned if MACC and the police are covering up for each other since they are probing each other, on Ops Gopi and Dzulkifli’s extramarital affairs.
“They are probing each other and this is the crux of the country’s major issues. Does that mean that the police and MACC will compromise with each other?
“This is how we see it. MACC and police have to take care of each other so that there would be no blowups,” he said.
