The weekly petrol prices will go down by three sen effective midnight.
The decline brings the new price for RON95 and RON97 petrol to RM2.16 and RM2.46 per litre, respectively.
This is a return to prices from two weeks ago, after a hike last week.
The price of diesel, meanwhile, will go down seven sen to RM2.10 per litre.
The price fall comes a week ahead of Deepavali celebrations which falls on next Wednesday.
The weekly fuel price system was implemented on March 30.
It is determined by global oil prices based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) and the ringgit's strength against the US dollar.- Mkini
