Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua has admitted to receiving a RM100,000 loan from BN strategic communications deputy director Eric See-To 12 years ago.
However, Pua said at the time See-To was not yet with the ruling coalition, and neither does the loan make the latter a somebody.
"Yes, you kindly provided me with a RM100,000 10-day loan for my then-company when we faced problems with our own debtors some 12 years ago - fully repaid, yes, 12 years ago. Yes, thank you very much.
"So, because of that, you are ‘somebody’? Because of that, you are terribly ‘hurt’? Are tears rolling out too? Do you need a pacifier?," Pua said in a Facebook post last night.

See-To (photo) had revealed that he gave the DAP lawmaker a loan in 2008 after being snubbed from a potential debate.
The loan was for an IT company that Pua ran which the BN man said had been making yearly losses.
When confronted by a commenter on taking a loan from someone in BN, Pua responded: "He wasn't with BN then."
The spat between the two erupted yesterday after Pua had told Malaysiakini that he had no qualms participating in a debate on the Penang undersea tunnel, but said it had to be with BN strategic communications director and minister, Abdul Rahman Dahlan, and not a "nobody" like See-to.
Pua insisted in his post that See-To was still a nobody, and that he would entertain the matter further.- Mkini
