Siti Nurhaliza not appearing at anti-kleptocracy rally this Saturday

A poster claiming that popular singer Siti Nurhaliza will attend the “Love Malaysia, Eradicate Kleptocracy” gathering this Saturday has gone viral on social media.
However, her manager Rozi Abdul Razak declined to comment about the poster, the origins of which is unknown.
“I do not think it is fair to Siti for me to comment anything on this. (Questions about the poster) should be directed to Pakatan Harapan.

“Why they have to do so, or let them deny it,” she said to Malaysiakini today.
When issues like these arise, Rozi said Siti would usually not address them.
“Siti is not the type who will respond to something that did not come from her people,” she said.
The anti-kleptocracy gathering, which is organised by Pakatan Harapan, is slated to be held this Saturday at Padang Timor, Petaling Jaya.
DAP’s Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua has confirmed that the poster is “fake news”.
Meanwhile, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman asked the public not to spread false news.
“The public should stop accusing Siti,” he said.
When asked whether Bersatu would be interested if Siti wanted to join the party, Saddiq simply said: “Of course.”

“She is my idol and the idol of many Malaysians, but I do not agree if anyone were to misuse her popularity for political interests.
“Siti is someone who is well-respected. She can make her own decisions for herself without any proxies,” Saddiq said.
Previously, a false poster depicting Siti as Bersatu’s candidate in Pekan, Pahang against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had gone viral as well.- Mkini
