ZAHID FIRES A QUIET BUT DEADLY BLOW AT NAJIB: POLICE HAVE ASKED INTERPOL TO LOCATE JHO LOW – HOME MINISTER

KUALA LUMPUR – A notice seeking the whereabouts of Malaysian millionaire Low Taek Jho or Jho Low, has already been sent to the International Police Organisation (Interpol), Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said today.
The home minister said that however, there have been no details as yet about Low.
“With regards to that case, we did indeed put in a request to the Interpol to find the person mentioned by YB Gombak,” Zahid said to MP Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
“And I’m very confident that the Interpol had acted professionally, and PDRM has not gotten any detailed information from the Interpol,” he added, referring to the Royal Malaysian Police.
Azmin had asked an additional question on strategic fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and Low, during Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat.
Low is frequently linked to 1MDB due to his role in its predecessor, but has not been formally called for any of the investigations into the firm.
Zahid said that he was also confident that the 1MDB case is no longer relevant, after it has already been investigated and “finalised”.
“However, we are confident that what has been done by a few international parties, especially intelligence agencies, has been finalised. We are confident that he case is no more relevant, unless raised by politicians who are not satisfied about it,” Zahid added.
