POLICE are investigating Lokman Noor Adam over a remark he made about a recent road rage incident.

Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Fadzil Ahmad said the 46-year-old Pemantau Malaysia Baru president is being investigated under Section 504 of the Penal Code for intentional insult and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for improper use of network facilities or services.

“The investigation was opened yesterday… it will be conducted by the Bukit Aman Classified Criminal Investigation Unit,” he told Bernama.

Lokman, who is also an Umno Supreme Council member, made the comment in a video clip that was uploaded to social media.

Syed Muhammad Danial Syed Syakir, 29, was found injured after his car was involved in crash with another vehicle at the Bandar Baru Bangi intersection of the North-South Expressway on Saturday. He was later pronounced dead.

Police have arrested a couple, who are being held in remand until this Saturday.
