KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The air quality over Johan Setia in Selangor's Klang district was recorded as being at unhealthy level as of 6pm on Wednesday (Aug 7).
According to the Malaysian Air Pollution Index (APIMS) data, the Air Pollution Index (API) reading at the time was recorded as being at 105.
The reading at 5 am was 104 and peaked at 107 at 9 am.
APIMS also reported 67 areas with moderate air quality levels on Wednesday, including Kota Bahru (Kelantan), Sungai Petani (Kedah), Banting (Selangor), Nilai (Negeri Sembilan) and Jerantut (Pahang).
An API reading that is between 0 and 50 is good, while 51 to 100 is moderate, 101 to 200 is unhealthy, 201 to 300 is very unhealthy and 301 and above is(hazardous.
