If true it must reflect the pemikiran of a very sick society.
A wasted life. Karma has made a full circle.
(Shokujinki atau human-eating ghosts, are the spirits of greedy, selfish or impious individuals who are cursed after death to seek out and eat human corpses).
(Thank you Sir.)
Dear Sir,
I have been following your blog for the past few years.
This is my 1st time writing and the reason I wrote is because of the issues at Utusan Malaysia.
For the past week, the media and all have been focusing and harping on the issue of non payment of salaries to the staff. This `standoff' went on until it was announced that UMNO will inject cash into the company to pay the staff.
In between these news of the workers plight, a small item appeared and it was a statement by Bursa Malaysia saying that Utusan will be delisted by 30 August 2019 if the company does not come up with a regularisation plan to get themselves out from its PN17 status.
As 30 August 2019 is another 7 days away, it is obvious that Utusan will not be able to come up with a regularisation plan.
It was reported that the company has debts of approximately RM140 million owing to various creditors.
- But no mention was made as to the amount of properties and assets that Utusan has.
- A quick check of the Annual Report for the financial year ending 31 Dec 2018 will reveal that the company has a substantial number of landed properties.
Granted that some or maybe all of these properties could have been pledged against loans obtained.
In the accounts, the values stated for these assets are carrying value i.e these assets are not stated based on current values. The carrying values could be 15 or 20 years ago or more.
My questions then are -
- why the company did not make any concerted effort to seek a regularisation plan for it to continue with its listing?
- Was it a deliberate attempt not to seek a regularisation plan by the company?
- Let Bursa delist the company and once delisted, its operations would not be subject to the public's scrutiny and
- any attempts to transfer the assets out from the company for dirt low prices can be carried out.
Minority shareholders are still shareholders in the company but it is normal in cases like this, the company does not care about the interests of these minority shareholders and whoever is in control of the company would just manage and treat the company like their private fiefdom.
I feel the delay in payment or non payment of the staff salaries was deliberately created and made public so that our eyes are taken off from querying why the company does not seek a regularisation of its affairs.
Instead the company `used' Bursa under their Listing Rules to delist the company and away from the prying eyes of the public.
The entry of the Syed M _ _htar group emerging as the 2nd single largest shareholder and the increase of the subscription price when sales are at rock bottom is clear, which is a clear no no that even a first year business student will tell you,
- that the former is looking at the properties of the company
- while the latter is to expedite the demise and delisting of the company.
So the strategy was to have the media and the public keep playing and harping on the outstanding salaries to the staff to divert attention away from the moves to start the `grabbing' scheme.
- Indeed this is sad.
- As you continuously and repeatedly mentioned,
- Melayu miskin dulu
- Those at the top of the heap always grab everything and leaving those poor souls staring at blank space.
- The workers are just collateral damage.
If you are kind enough to publish my comments.
`A Truly Sad Malaysian'. Regards.
Akhir kalam : Jadi siapa lagi boleh dipercayai orang Melayu?
Nak percaya UMNO? Nahas.
Nak percaya Dr Mahathir? Geng Mamak dulu apa sudah jadi ah?
Nak percaya Brader ? Masih psycho pintu belakang.
Nak percaya Semburit? Video serta perjuangan 'sangat tak clear'.
Nak percaya lebai air liur? Elok cabut kutu atas pokok.
Nak percaya Pakatan? Klin-tong, klin-tong.
Nak percaya dewa kayangan? Orang putih your wife the London?
Akhir sekali tuan-tuan hanya boleh percaya saya.
OutSyed The Box. (Ha ha ha . . ketawa tetapi bukan bergurau.)
Hampir semua yang saya tulis atau ramalkannya - lebih daripada 99% - semuanya jadi kenyataan- it has come true.
Tahun 2006 saya menulis buku 'Malaysia And the Club of Doom - The Collapse of the Islamic Countries'.
Arab Saudi next in line.
To live a normal and happy life.
