PETALING JAYA: A systems disruption at KLIA last night has brought down several critical services, with passengers advised to arrive at least four hours before their departure time.
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) said the glitch had affected internet connection, flight information terminals, check-in counters and the baggage handling system.
“Since the disruption, our team has been working around the clock, not only to rectify the situation, but also to minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers,” the airport operator said, adding that it expected the problem to last throughout the day.
MAHB also said passengers can approach the airport’s “CARE Ambassadors” or call 03-8776 2000 for details of their flights. - FMT
